Solskjaer drops hint over David De Dea return date for Manchester United
According to Metro, Solskjaer has confirmed that David De Gea could return for Manchester United when they face West Ham on Sunday. The Spanish international went home for the birth of his first child and subsequently missed the last two games against Man City and AC Milan.
In his stead, Dean Henderson manned the posts and managed to keep it tidy in the Manchester Derby. He was, however, faulted for the goal conceded against AC Milan. While De Gea is back in Manchester right now, he is under isolation and is not training with the team.
Since he travelled back to the UK from Spain, he will have to observe a quarantine period of five days. Solskjaer went on to confirm the same.
‘David is back in Manchester. ‘So he is quarantining, or self-isolating. He is touch and go for Sunday I think, as I am not sure if it was Monday or Tuesday when he arrived back in Manchester.
No, I think he has got to stay at home. I think so, he is not training with us anyway. It is different if you travel away and compete, so no he has not been training since he came back.’
With his participation not sure on Sunday, Henderson could keep his place in the side as West Ham visit Old Trafford. Chances are high that De Gea won’t play given he is yet to train with the squad since returning to Manchester.

The 23-year-old Henderson will be hoping for only his 6th Premier League game this season, often having to settle for the cup games. With Henderson impressing in the limited outings he has been given, Solskjaer will have a huge headache when both his keepers are available.
