According to the club’s official site, Manchester United star Victor Lindelof is looking forward to meeting Diogo Dalot in the Europa League on Thursday.

The 21-year-old full-back joined AC Milan on a season-long loan last summer. While he has enjoyed a mixed bag of results, he is expected to make the trip to Old Trafford for the first leg of the last-16 clash.

Dalot scored in Milan’s last game against Hellas Verona and would love to prove a point against his parent club. The onus is on us to ensure it does not happen.

“Yeah, well I am happy if he is performing well over there, but if he performs against us hopefully he won’t perform as well. It’s going to be fun to see him again.”

Lindelof went on to add that maybe the club’s Portuguese contingent are in touch with the player. While the Swede wishes his United comrade well, he hopes Dalot has a poor game against the Red Devils.

“I’m not really sure if they have text him a little bit. I think so.”

While one player is returning to Old Trafford, another former star has been ruled out of the game.

39-year-old striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Milan’s top scorer, is ruled out of the game. Whether he will make it for the return leg on 18th March remains to be seen.
