Solskjaer talks about Diogo Dalot playing against Manchester United
Speaking to the official website, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer talked about the prospect of Diogo Dalot squaring off against his parent club.
Manchester United have drawn AC Milan in the Europa League Round of 16 which means that Dalot will have a chance to play against United while being on loan at the Italian outfit from the Red Devils.
The Red Devils confirmed that Dalot would be eligible to play against them in the AC Milan game. United made light work of Real Sociedad in the last round while AC Milan scraped past Crvena Zvezda.
One of the more decorated ties in the next round, both teams come with a lot of domestic as well as European pedigree from seasons past. Solskjaer spoke about the fixture and added in a little jab for Dalot in the end.
“We do have the tradition of making it hard for ourselves in draws. It’s one of those draws again that you feel could be a Champions League game. Diogo we know. He went there to get some experience at a big club and he’s learned a lot. He’s played a lot more games this season, kept fit and, hopefully, we can give him some bother!”
