Manchester United in talks with Juventus’ Matteo Tognozzi for Sporting Director role
According to Stretty News (h/t The Celtic Star), Manchester United are looking to appoint Matteo Tognozzi as their Sporting Director. The Juventus scout was actually in line to become Celtic’s Director of Football but it appears the Red Devils have stolen a march on the Scottish giants.
“We understand that senior officials at United are putting together an offer which they hope would see Tognozzi snub Celtic and take the reins at Old Trafford instead.
“Talks are understood to be underway, however, it has also been suggested to us that should a suitable offer be presented, Tognozzi would welcome the United sporting director’s role.”
