Manchester United will have to pay £67m to land Robin Le Normand
According to Grada3 (h/t Express), Manchester United are keeping tabs on Real Sociedad defender Robin Le Normand.
The Frenchman has been with the La Liga side 2016. He initially spent time with the club’s reserve side before transitioning to the senior team.
He has since made 68 appearances for the Txuriurdin, scoring two goals and assisting three more. Strong both in the air and on the ground, the 24-year-old is a formidable defender. (h/t Transfermarkt)

He has been central to Sociedad’s climb up the table. They are currently in the fifth spot, having led the league earlier in the season.
The Spanish outfit were keen to hold onto their star man and offered him fresh terms last summer. Bringing him in will need us to meet his massive £67m release clause.
The Red Devils have scouted the Frenchman for a while now and are set to set Sociedad’s resolve. While a move for him this month is unlikely, we could make a concentrated effort to land him in the summer.

The La Liga side are under no pressure to sell the player. United will need to make a lucrative offer to land him at the end of the season.
United have had troubles at the back this season. Bringing in a dependable partner alongside Harry Maguire is something that we should address come the summer.
Le Normand is not the only defender on our radar. United are also keeping tabs on Argentine starlet Facundo Medina and RB Leipzig star Dayot Upamecano.

Le Normand is definitely a player to keep an eye on. While he has shown excellent potential, whether he is worth the asking price remains to be seen.
As things stand Upamecano is a younger and much more developed player. He is also available for a comparatively cheaper price. However, given the numbers who are in for him, a bidding war could be imminent.
Whether we shift our focus to land the impressive Le Normand or not remains to be seen.
