Leon Baily joins UK-based agency amidst interest from several clubs including Manchester United
A report by Daily Mail states that Leon Bailey has joined UK-based Unique Sports Management in a move that could help Premier League switch, as Manchester United continue to be linked.
This means that he will now be represented by two agencies. One would be Phoenix Sports Management which is run by his father, and the other will be Unique Sports Management (USM).
USM has a number of bright young talents on its list, including Manchester United right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The report also states that this move could help boost any hopes of a Premier League transfer. However, United are just one of many English clubs interested in him.
Other English clubs circling Bailey
As reported by Sportmail (h/t Daily Mail), Tottenham Hotspur, Everton, and Arsenal are also interested in the Jamaican. Moreover, Chelsea and Manchester City have also been linked with him in the past.
A bid by Leeds United was also rejected in the summer. The report also states that the move comes just at a time when several Premier League clubs have reignited their interest in him.
Bailey has been splendid this season for his current club Bayer Leverkusen. The 23-year-old’s tally of 4 goals and 5 assists in 12 league games has propelled Leverkusen to second place in the Bundesliga.
The Red Devils don’t have a shortage of world-class forwards. However, a congested list of Premier League fixtures has seen them struggle at times due to injury issues.
United also do not have an established right-winger, a position which Bailey is adept at playing. The quality, depth, and versatility that Bailey offers could help propel United to reach their title aspirations.
