Speaking in an exclusive interview with AmericanGambler.com (h/t Manchester Evening News), former Manchester United winger Andrei Kanchelskis remarked that Paul Pogba should leave the club instead of kicking up a fuss every now and then.

Paul Pogba joined Manchester United from Juventus in a high-profile move in the summer of 2016. Since then, the midfielder has shown his world-class potential in the Premier League but has had his fair share of critics too.

The French midfielder was at Manchester United from 2009 to 2012 but left for Juventus in the summer of 2012 as a 19-year-old on a free transfer.

Since his return to Old Trafford, Pogba has made 168 appearances for the club in all competitions, where he has amassed 33 goals and 35 assists.

Andrei Kanchelskis says that he believes Pogba is a great player but should leave the club if his attitude does not improve.

“Pogba is always talking about leaving Manchester United, so for me it would be better if you just left. If you’re saying every time ‘I don’t like this, I don’t like, I want to leave’ then just leave. Go. Leave. No problem.”

The Russian winger, who left Manchester United in 1995 after 4 years at the club, cited Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola as a major problem and said that Pogba should appreciate the opportunity for Manchester United more.

Pogba has started just 5 games this season for Manchester United amidst fitness issues but continues to be an important part of the team.

At just 27 years of age, Pogba has a few years of football still left in him and the Red Devils should try and utilise his abilities. If not, Solskjaer must take a decision on his future before his contract runs out in the summer of 2022.
