And now, Napoli have informed the clubs that any move for the Senegalese international should be completed within this weekend. (h/t Daily Star)

Koulibaly has been with Napoli since 2014, having joined from Belgian outfit KRC Genk. Since then, he has established himself as one of the most reliable centre-backs in Europe.

Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis had claimed that the Senegalese international could be sold this summer in order to raise some cash. However, they will not entertain any offers or discussions for the 29-year-old after this weekend. (h/t Daily Star)

Manchester United could use with another reliable defender within the ranks, considering that Victor Lindelof hasn’t always convinced enough. At the same time, Eric Bailly has struggled with injuries, while the likes of Chris Smalling, Marcos Rojo and Phil Jones aren’t a part of the plans.
