Jadon Sancho happy at Borussia Dortmund
According to the Daily Mail, Jadon Sancho has dealt Manchester United further blow in their efforts to sign him this summer.
The 20-year-old has been linked with a £108million move to United. However, the move has hit a snag with the two clubs at loggerheads over the fee.
Dortmund had recently revealed that they expect Sancho to stay put this summer. The youngster then joined up with his teammates for their pre-season training camp in Switzerland.
Sancho even played 45 minutes of the German side’s pre-season friendly against Rheindorf Altach in Austria.
United had already run into trouble during negotiations on two fronts-Dortmund’s valuation and Sancho’s wages.
The player himself did little to encourage matters admitting that he is happy to play for Dortmund.
“I love playing with this lot. It is a special bunch.”
Despite being just 20, Sancho is a key member of the squad and is already looking to nurture the youngsters coming through.
“We’ve got some special young players coming up. I am really happy to share the pitch with them and guide them.”
As someone who made the move to Germany at 17, Sancho is well aware of the difficulties faced by a young player rising to the top. He is keen to pass on this first-hand knowledge to budding talents who are hoping to follow in his footsteps.
Among those hoping to emulate his success is Jude Bellingham. The youngster starred on his debut and even grabbed an assist.
