United to sell Paul Pogba to fund transfers of English trio

According to the Daily Star (h/t Metro), Manchester United are keen on selling Paul Pogba to fund the transfers of Jack Grealish, Jadon Sancho and Jams Maddison.

The French World Cup winner has not featured for the Red Devils since December and looks to be on his way out.

Signed from Juventus in 2016, Pogba hasn’t performed to expectations. United are now keen to cut their losses on the 26-year-old.

Sancho is expected to leave Dortmund in the summer with a number of clubs keen. United are believed to be at the head of the queue.

Grealish and Maddison have enjoyed excellent seasons in the Premier League. The Villa Captain is central to his team’s survival while Maddison has contributed to Leicester’s unlikely push to third.

Both players would considerably improve United’s midfield and also proved themselves in the Premier League.

Pogba’s agent Mina Raiola has been vocal about the player’s desire to return to Italy.

The superagent went on to state that the midfielder is keen on a return to Juventus. Pogba had starred for the Turin giants from 2012 to 2016 before returning to United to much fanfare.

United hopes to obtain around £100million for Pogba and will add that money to Solskjaer’s transfer kitty.
