Manchester United eyeing Jan Oblak and Christian Eriksen in the upcoming transfer windows
Manchester United spent big in the summer landing Harry Maguire and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
The pair has done extremely well for the Red Devils while another summer signing, Daniel James, is scoring goals for fun. However, there are plans to sign a goalkeeper as a possible replacement for David de Gea.
The Spaniard is possibly the best goalkeeper in the Premier League but his form hasn’t been too good over the past 12 months.
Diario AS (h/t Express) claims that the Red Devils want to sign Jan Oblak from Atletico Madrid, and the Slovenian has a release clause of £108m. The 26-year-old is a couple of years younger than De Gea and is the best keeper in the Spanish league.
Eyes on Eriksen too
The Daily Mail (h/t Express) adds that United have decided to bid for the Dane in the January window. Eriksen is out of a contract at the end of the season and could leave Tottenham for free.
The Dane has been one of the most impressive players at the London club since joining from Ajax, and could do a good job in our midfield.
United have solved some of their defensive problems by landing two players in the summer but they still have issues in the other areas of the field.

We could do with more creativity in the midfield while our attacking options have been limited since the exit of Alexis Sanchez and Romelu Lukaku.
