PSG becomes the latest club to show interest in Paul Pogba
Ligue 1 giants PSG have emerged as the latest club to show interest in wantaway Manchester United star Paul Pogba, according to the Sun.
The 26-year-old clearly revealed that he is braced for new challenges away from Old Trafford. With Real Madrid and Juventus looking like the potential suitors of the Frenchman, the Parisians have now entered the race.
Thomas Tuchel’s side is required to pay out a staggering £150m if they want Pogba to play in Ligue 1 next season. Earlier, Los Blancos had a bid worth £90m turned down by the Red Devils.
The former Bianconeri was bought for £89m by United in 2016 and has been at the heart of the midfield over the course.
However, Pogba couldn’t enjoy enough game time under Jose Mourinho at the start of the last season despite being a marquee signing. But thanks to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, as he helped the French world cup winner revive himself at Old Trafford.
In fact, he bagged a goal tally of 24 under the Norwegian manager and played a pivotal role behind United’s short-lived winning spree. Elsewhere, the Parisians are looking to reinforce their midfield strength and have chosen to sign Pogba.
