United resume their interest in Monaco-bound Youri Tielemans
Man Utd News: Manchester United have reignited their interest in Monaco midfielder Youri Tielemans, according to The Sun.
The Belgian midfielder enjoyed a great loan spell with Leicester City and is due to return his parent club Monaco.
With the Ligue 1 outfit willing to sell the young talent for a value of around £40million, United have stepped their interest once again as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sorts out the replacement for Paul Pogba.
The French midfielder has been heavily linked with a move to Real Madrid and United are set to miss a key member in the rebuilding process should he leaves this summer.
Pogba cut an impressive figure under the Norwegian manager, though he was pushed down the ranks by Jose Mourinho.
Elsewhere, Tielemans, 22, turned out as a trump card for the Brendan Rodgers and gave some valuable contributions in the season’s end. In fact, the former Anderlecht man racked up three goals and four assists in just thirteen appearances.
United need to sign Tielemans
United are in need of midfield reinforcements and Solskjaer is ready to bet on the young talents like Andreas Pereira and Scott McTominay.
