Manchester United are set to offer a new two-year deal for reserves player Luca Ercolani, according to Mirror.

The 19-year-old defender has been a regular for the reserves side and played a huge role in the UEFA youth league 2018/19.

The Italian prospect has now become a sought-after player, especially gaining interest from Italian clubs like SPAL and Empoli.

However, amidst this transfer links, United want to extend Ercolani’s stay until 2021. The Old Trafford outfit cites him as a viable addition for the future.

On the other hand, United are also keen on offering a new contract to Andreas Pereira, another sparsely used player over the course. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is believed to be a big admirer of the Brazilian midfielder and wants him in Premier league for a long course. The 23-year-old has spent his loan spells in La Liga.

Romelu Lukaku, United’s out-of-sorts player, has also linked with a move to Serie A outfit Inter Milan and United want the Belgian’s entire release clause to be met for his transfer.
