Man United look to tie Pereira for four more years at Old Trafford
Manchester United are set to extend the stay of Andreas Pereira for four more years as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is impressed by the midfielder, according to the Sun.
The 23-year-old barely featured under the Norwegian manager in the recently concluded season, making 19 appearances in which 11 of them were as a substitute.
On top of everything, the Brazilian’s 25-yard stunner against Southampton will be remembered for good. Pereira broke into United’s main team in 2014 after making quick progress in the Old Trafford youth set-up.
He also had his notable loan spells with La Liga sides Granada and Valencia in subsequent seasons and made a great impact at the former one.
Is Pereira the solution for United’s midfield crisis?
The Norwegian manager is currently working towards squad rebuilding and the Brazilian prospect would be expected to play a pivotal role in the forthcoming season.
While the future of our star players like Paul Pogba and Juan Mata is hanging in balance, Pereira is someone we can bet on for an optimistic future.
