Man Utd interested in Real Madrid’s Keylor Navas
Manchester United are keen on bringing Real Madrid goalkeeper Keylor Navas as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer sorts out David de Gea’s replacement, according to the Sun.
De Gea is hesitant to commit his future at Old Trafford as the Red Devils failed to meet his needs of sumptuous wages.
With Ligue 1 giants PSG monitoring the situation of the Spaniard, United are planning for prolific alternatives. The latest entrant to Solskajaer’s wish list is Navas, who has clearly fallen down the pecking order of Zinedine Zidane.
The Costa Rican shot-stopper was a crucial figure for Los Blancos before the arrival of Thibaut Courtois, who literally limited Navas’ opportunities. Now, the 34-year-old is clearly on the brink of Bernabeu exit and United are ready to pounce on him.
Navas has made more than 100 appearances for Madrid and played a pivotal role for them in their hat-trick of Champions League wins.
Alongside Navas, Jasper Cillessen and Gianluigi Donnarumma are some of the names linked with a move to Old Trafford.
Should United move for Navas?
Despite the fact that Navas is untouchable in his prime, United also have to consider that he is getting caught with the age and can’t be the long-term successor of De Gea.

Instead, the Red Devils should go for the ones who can commit to the club’s long-term future if De Gea seeks an exit.
