Tottenham’s Trippier is on the radar of Manchester United
Manchester United are still keeping tabs on Tottenham right-back Kieran Trippier as Ole Gunner Solskjaer plans for reinforcements, according to the Mirror.
However, the Red Devils might find it difficult to persuade the English full-back given that the North London side are tough negotiators.
Trippier, 28, was instrumental for Spurs this season as they ended up as runners-up of the Champions League and finished fourth in the Premier league table.
The former Burnley man bagged a goal and three assists in 37 appearances this season across all competitions. He also enjoyed a great run with the Three Lions in last year’s FIFA World Cup before losing to Croatia in semi-finals.
Should United go all out for Trippier?
The Norwegian manager is looking for a solid right-back to bolster the defence and the attack as United’s Ashley Young looked out of sorts throughout the campaign.
Furthermore, the ex-Aston Villa player is in the twilight of his career and it is the right time for United to find his worthy successor.

Trippier may look like a great option given his experience, work rate and the ability to balance his play well, but the Red Devils have to shell out more than £30million for his services.
Meanwhile, Solskjaer has a ready-made option named Diego Dalot, who barely featured for the Red Devils after falling down the pecking order.
Yet, the 20-year-old showed a glimpse of his talent whenever he was given the starts and certainly looks poised for a great future at Old Trafford.
