Inter Milan offer Croatian winger Perisic in exchange for Lukaku

Serie A giants Inter Milan have offered Ivan Perisic to Manchester in exchange of Romelu Lukaku, according to the Sun. The Belgian endured a gruesome season and doesn’t seem to be under the plans of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer for next season.

Lukaku has scored only 12 goals in 42 games and often found himself on the sidelines owing to injuries.

Meanwhile, Inter Milan are closing into appointing Antonio Conte as their new manager and the former Chelsea gaffer is interested in the Belgian striker.

Ivan Perisic to United

Perisic, who was once the primary target of the Red Devils, had a great run in Serie A this season. The 30-year-old has scored 9 goals and provided three this season across all competitions.

Furthermore, the Croatian also had a memorable run in the FIFA World Cup last year, where he played a huge role for his side to end as runners-up. In the process, he bagged three goals and an assist, and scored in the semi-finals and the final as well.

Ole Gunnar Solksjaer wants to strengthen his attacking line-up for next season and Perisic looks more than a decent signing.

The former Wolfsburg man plays as a natural winger and has the tendency to play on both flanks. He is also known for his great speed, technical skills, and the ability to provide great crosses, which would make him a great fit at Old Trafford.
