Man United plot big-money move for Juventus star Paulo Dybala
Manchester United are plotting a massive £85million for Juventus star Paulo Dybala, reports Daily Mail UK. The report also states the Premier League club have made contact with the Argentine forward regarding a potential summer move.
Dybala’s underwhelming season at Turin
The arrival of Portuguese talisman Cristiano Ronaldo has hindered the progress of Dybala at Juventus.
And at times, he was has not even been considered by Massimiliano Allegri as his handpicked starter.
The former Parma player’s scoring rate has reduced when compared to the previous season in which he ended up as Serie A’s second most goal-scorer with 22 goals.
Allegri’s plan to deploy Dybala as the striker also didn’t pay off as he managed to score only 10 goals this season.
United should bolster their attacking unit
The Red Devils are having an underwhelming season so far, failing to land a place in Premier league top 4. Goals have become stagnant as Romelu Lukaku and Alexis Sanchez struggled to find their form.
Marcus Rashford has been quite brilliant but he couldn’t get enough support from the teammates.
Old Trafford would be a great destination for Dybala to rejuvenate himself and can form a deadly partnership with Rashford.
Furthermore, the Argentine’s versatility up front can help Ole Gunnar Solskjaer rebuild his side and contend for the Premier League glory in the upcoming season.
