Former Liverpool star Philippe Coutinho is “tempted” at the possibility of joining Manchester United, according to Mundo Deportivo (h/t Manchester Evening News).
The Brazilian left the Reds last January and joined Barcelona where he picked up the La Liga title. However, he seems to be struggling at the club and has not started in the last four league games.
The report adds that Coutinho is unhappy at the Catalan giants and could consider his future if he does not play regularly for the side.
The Brazilian’s time has been cut short thanks to the rise of Ousmane Dembele with the French forward in fantastic form in recent weeks.
The report claims that Coutinho has not given up on his Barcelona dream and isn’t looking for a transfer out of the Nou Camp in January.
The Brazilian was one of the bright sparks at Liverpool during his time at Anfield and we could do with some creativity in the team.
It will be interesting to see if we move for the Brazilian given his links with Liverpool. We did sign Michael Owen, a former Liverpool striker, but only after he had stints at Real Madrid and Newcastle United.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has made us a tough side to beat and we picked up our sixth win on the spin after defeating Tottenham 1-0.
United also need more quality in the heart of the defence and it is imperative we sign a world-class central defender soon.

The Red Devils haven’t signed any player in the winter window, and hopefully, that changes in the next two weeks.
