Foot Mercato (h/t Express) claims that Manchester United are interested in Belgian winger Yannick Carrasco with the former Atletico Madrid man not enjoying his football in China.
The 25-year-old joined Dalian Yifang less than a year ago, and the report claims that the player is feeling homesick in China.
The attacker has provided 12 goals in the league this season and the report adds that United could make an offer before the end of the winter window.
There is interest from other quarters with AC Milan keeping tabs on the Belgian. Carrasco was one of the brightest players in the Monaco side before his move to Madrid and it was a bit of a surprise a player hitting his prime was ready to move to China.
The report adds that the 25-year-old earns a whopping £8.8million every year and United would not be looking to pay that much for the winger.
It will be interesting to see our winter activity given that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer was unsure about players coming in and claimed that the decisions would be taken by Ed Woodward (h/t Express):
“I’m sure they’ve got their targets. I’m here to voice my opinion on that and I’m sure we’ll sit down, me and Ed [Woodward] if we’ve got anything in the pipeline.
“I’m here to work with the ones I’ve got, they’ve all performed.”
The manager ensured United continued their winning run with a win over Reading in the FA Cup, and that makes it five from five for the Norwegian.

Hopefully, we get a couple of quality players in and ensure there is Champions League football at Old Trafford next season.
