There could be a host of changes in the Manchester United line-up to face Reading in the FA Cup. The Red Devils come off a fourth straight win under interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, and facing the struggling Championship side should give him scope to change the team.
Several of our first-teamers can be afforded a break after a packed schedule and we should have enough quality to see off the Royals at Old Trafford.
Eric Bailly is set to miss this clash after his straight red against Bournemouth, and we could see Alexis Sanchez start for the first time under our new manager.
The FA Cup could be a realistic target for Solskjaer after his great start to his managerial career at Old Trafford, and here is our predicted line-up for the Red Devils.
Predicted Manchester United XI
Formation: 4-3-3
Manager: Ole Gunner Solskjaer
Sergio Romero (GK)
David de Gea could get a rest from the side and Romero is a decent option to call against Reading.
Ashley Young (LB)
Young could start for United on Saturday, given his experience, and the fact that he didn’t play against Newcastle.
Victor Lindelof (CB)
United are short on fit centre-backs, so we should continue playing with Lindelof and Phil Jones.
Phil Jones (CB)
The Englishman is getting an extended run thanks to Eric Bailly’s suspension and hopefully, he does well against the Royals.
Diogo Dalot (RB)
Dalot should replace Valencia in the back four, and the youngster has done a fairly decent job in his first season at United.
Marouane Fellaini (CM)
Fellaini hasn’t played as often as he would have liked under Solskjaer but this should be a chance to show his ability to the new manager.
Fred (CM)
The Brazilian should start for us as he provides a rest to star man Paul Pogba.
Andreas Pereira (CM)
It would be great seeing the youngster get a few minutes on the pitch after playing in many games at the start of the season.
Alexis Sanchez (LW)
Sanchez got a few minutes off the bench against Newcastle and should be in the running to start on Saturday.
Romelu Lukaku (ST)
The Belgian scored in our win over the Magpies and should start for us at Old Trafford.

Jesse Lingard (RW)
Lingard should start the game for us and once the win is secured, the Englishman can be replaced by another United youngster.
