Inter Milan are interested in Manchester United’s Ashley Young, according to the Mirror. The Englishman is out of contract at the end of the season and could join the Italians on a free.

The report claims that United are in talks with the 33-year-old and are hoping to secure his services on a 12-month deal once the current contract expires.

Young, who can play in several positions, wants to stay at the club and is happy with an extension of his £130,000-a-week salary, as per the report.

The Englishman started his career as a winger but has been deployed as a full-back in recent seasons at Old Trafford.

The report adds that Roma are also tracking the Englishman post the sacking of Jose Mourinho.

The 33-year-old has even captained our side during a tumultuous season as we replaced Jose Mourinho with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

The Red Devils need a bit of a miracle to make it to the top four at the end of the season, however, we have won all our games under our interim manager.

Young has been part of this winning run, and it would be great to keep the Englishman beyond the season.
