Jose Mourinho isn’t having a great time at Manchester United and suffered another defeat, this time at the hands of Liverpool.
The 3-1 loss at Anfield put us 19 points behind the Reds as we languish in sixth place. A top-four finish also looks a tall order, at the moment.
There still could be an opening for the United man as Inter Milan are interested in their former manager, according to the Mirror.
Inter were dumped out of the Champions League after their 1-1 draw against PSV Eindhoven. The report claims that the club are contemplating letting go of Luciano Spalletti in the summer.
The Milan giants are also struggling in the league and lie 14 points behind leaders Juventus. The report adds that Mourinho is one of the names on the list for Inter with Antonio Conte also in the running, should they not extend Spalletti’s contract at the end of the season.
Mourinho has had his troubles with the team this season and we are yet to hit any kind of form under the Portuguese.
The United manager had a great time at Inter as he won the treble during his stint at the club. It will be interesting to see if we let him go soon.
