Paul Pogba was fined £350 for speeding in a 30mph zone, according to the Sun. The Manchester United star earns £300,000 a week (h/t Sun) and admitted that he was doing 40mph in the zone.
The report adds that the player then left in a Rolls-Royce and laughed when he was told that he would have no problem in paying the fine in full.
Pogba was taken to the magistrates’ court after refusing to tell the police who was driving the speeding car, as per the report.
However, the charge was dropped after the Frenchman pleaded guilty as he was caught by a speeding camera, according to the Sun.
The report adds that Pogba would pay £350 as a fine, £115 as costs and £35 as victim surcharge. The World Cup winner would also receive three points on his driving license for the speeding violation.
The 25-year-old even mocked the Sun’s photographer as he left the court saying:
“No more pictures mate, you’ve earned enough today.”
The fine is barely a dent on the massive amounts Pogba makes at United but the player needs to be careful while driving.
Hugo Lloris was also involved in an incident recently but the Frenchman was involved in a drink-driving case.
Pogba has turned things around in his Manchester United form recently and scored in our 2-1 win over Everton on Sunday.
