Manchester United had to toil for the three points against Everton on Sunday. The Red Devils raced into a 2-0 lead, but Chris Smalling gave away a penalty which the Toffees converted to make it nervy at the end.
Nevertheless, it was a decent performance against a tough team. Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial scored the goals to clinch the three points. Out of the many talking points, one of them was the former’s penalty-taking approach.
Martial won the spot-kick but Pogba took close to 11 seconds between his run-up and shooting the ball. Jordan Pickford saved the penalty, but the rebound was slotted in by the Frenchman.
That was the moment reiterated by Luke Shaw in his tweet after the match. The Englishman, who is now a first-choice left-back at the club, shared a funny text.

Pogba did take a lot of time to slot the ball in, but Shaw’s tweet was cheeky.

The former Southampton man had a tough time under the boss last season but seems to have turned a corner in his United career. The Englishman even penned a new deal to extend his stay at the club, and hopefully, he will come up with great performances in the games and years to come.
