Manchester United defender Chris Smalling recently celebrated a milestone for the club. The Englishman played his 200th Premier League game recently and was presented a memento for that feat.
A special memento to mark @ChrisSmalling‘s 200th @PremierLeague appearance – congrats, Chris! 👏🏅 pic.twitter.com/zszj21ZBH4

Smalling has come a long way since his Fulham days. The centre-back, at one point, was the best defender for the country but hasn’t been great in recent years.
The 28-year-old has become Jose Mourinho’s favourite this season though. Smalling is part of the first-choice pairing at the back for the Red Devils.
The Englishman hasn’t been the best defender in the league but always gives his 100% for the club.
However, some fans didn’t rate the player enough and did not want to see the Englishman playing for the Red Devils.
200 too many, lock him in a hot car and terminate his contract ASAP. Non league standard defender.

An embarassing moment. And a reminder of how far our club has fallen. #GlazersOut #WoodwardOut #MourinhoOut

Well done. Played shit in 173 of them.

The simple fact this bang average defender has played 200 times for Utd sort of highlights where we’re going wrong at the club.

He’s level on appearances with Vidic ffs 😭

This is why we are not progressing. We have players like this clown messing things up at the back yet he somehow manages to get in the team week in week out
