Manchester United youth starlet Tahith Chong trained with the first-team ahead of the Champions League game against Juventus, as per the Metro.
The report adds that the 18-year-old was a replacement for Alexis Sanchez in the team as the Chilean was absent from training.
Chong is regarded as one of the brighter talents in the United academy and impressed during the pre-season tour this summer.
The 18-year-old scored recently in a 3-0 win Sunderland’s U23 side, and it will be interesting to see if he makes it to the bench for the game against the Italian giants.
Chong has the potential to be the next big thing at Old Trafford and training with the first-team should be a step in the right direction for him.
The clash against Juventus at Old Trafford is one of the most anticipated matches in the competition, mostly because former United star Cristiano Ronaldo will return to the club where he made his name in international football.
The Portuguese became one of the best players in the world at United before joining Real Madrid. The 33-year-old joined Juventus at the start of the season and has been scoring goals for fun recently.
