According to the Mirror, Manchester United have rubbished rumours about a possible move to bring Zinedine Zidane to replace under-pressure manager Jose Mourinho.
United have already lost three of the seven games they have played in the Premier League and are out of the Carabao Cup.
The report adds that Mourinho is under scrutiny following the fall-out with Paul Pogba. However, the report further claims that a senior United official has rubbished news of the club approaching Zidane to replace the former Chelsea manager.
The former Real Madrid and Juventus star led the Galacticos to three Champions League titles in a row before calling it quits at the end of last season.
However, the Mirror states that Ed Woodward doesn’t want to change managers so quickly. Although the relationship between Woodward and Mourinho isn’t great, the club wants to give the manager time to get things into place.
The manager has to get things right as soon as possible since the Red Devils do look out-of-sorts at the moment.

It is a surprise as to why Mourinho has not been able to fix things at the club. We are already nine points behind the league leaders and are currently 10th after just seven games into the season.
