The Mirror claims that Paul Pogba isn’t going to back down and the Frenchman is ready to declare that he won’t play for Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho.

The Red Devils lost to West Ham United 3-1 on Saturday and Pogba was replaced in the 71st minute by Mourinho.

The report adds that the midfielder, who earns a staggering £260,000-a-week, wasn’t happy with our playing style in the 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers and wanted the club to attack more.

Mourinho then took away the vice-captain’s role from the Frenchman and explained his decision during the press conference on Friday:

“I explain very detailed to the people that has to know in detail, which is the squad and especially Paul.

“So Paul and the other players in the squad know in detail the reason why myself and my coaching staff we decide to do that. And I always analyse a player as a player.

“When a player is captain, I analyse the player by the player perspective, but also by the captain perspective. And after weeks of analysing and changing opinions with my coaching staff we made the decision that from now Paul is just a player and not a captain.”

The report claims that the Frenchman didn’t flinch with this latest fallout and is ready to declare that he will not play for United should a situation arise.
