Manchester United face a tough West Ham United side as we must aim to return to winning ways. The Red Devils were humbled at Old Trafford by Derby County in the Carabao Cup and Jose Mourinho needs a win desperately.
United are already eight points behind league leaders Liverpool and we cannot afford to drop more points this weekend. The last game saw us draw 1-1 against Wolverhampton Wanderers at home and we must play better against a side with a lot of attacking outlets.
Manuel Pellegrini knows United well and will look to cause an upset. United have a clash against Valencia in the Champions League midweek and here is our predicted line-up for the Red Devils against the Hammers.
Predicted Manchester United XI
Formation: 4-3-3
Manager: Jose Mourinho
David De Gea (GK)
The best keeper in the world didn’t play against Derby but should return between the sticks for this game.
Antonio Valencia (RB)
Although Diogo Dalot was impressive against the Rams, we should see the more experienced Valencia taking this spot on Saturday.
Chris Smalling (CB)
Smalling also didn’t feature in the Carabao Cup clash but the Englishman should continue playing in the Premier League for United.
Victor Lindelof (CB)
The Swede hasn’t looked brilliant so far but he seems like the best option to play alongside Smalling in the centre of the defence.
Luke Shaw (LB)
Shaw wasn’t deployed in the Derby game and the Englishman should replace Ashley Young as our left-back.
Marouane Fellaini (CM)
The Belgian scored a stoppage-time equalizer against the Rams and should start against West Ham on Saturday.
Fred (CM)
Fred opened his United account against Wolves last week and must aim to impress against the Hammers on Saturday.
Paul Pogba (CM)
The Frenchman didn’t play in the loss against the Rams and it will be interesting to see how Pogba reacts after Jose Mourinho took away his vice-captain’s role.
Alexis Sanchez (LW)
Sanchez needs to perform and score goals. The Chilean has been poor this season and has to either do well in the coming games or risk being dropped.
Romelu Lukaku (ST)
The Belgian seems to be our only attacker in good form and should start the game against the Rams.

Jesse Lingard (RW)
Lingard has struggled for form this season and he needs a good game. The Englishman started against Derby but should be in the line-up to face the Hammers on Saturday.
