“A disaster at Manchester United” – Some Man United fans rip into 29-year-old after poor show against Wolves

Alexis Sanchez

Alexis Sanchez got a start in the 1-1 draw against Wolverhampton Wanderers but the Chilean wasn’t a threat for the away side.

The 29-year-old hasn’t scored for Manchester United this season and was rested in our 3-0 win over Young Boys in the Champions League.

The former Arsenal man was subbed in the 63rd minute and looks like a shadow of the player who was banging the goals in at the Emirates.

United have a number of options to play out wide and some fans were unhappy with the Chilean’s contribution.

The result leaves us eight points behind Liverpool, who are leading the Premier League after just six games so far.

Some fans weren’t letting the performance go and had a pop at the 29-year-old on Twitter.
