“Would be a great signing”, “Isn’t the most perfect striker” – Some Man United fans unsure about Argentine striker with €110m release clause

Manchester United are willing to pay Mauro Icardi’s release clause of €110m, according to AS (h/t ESPN).

The report adds that should Icardi be interested in a move, United would be willing to splash out but a number of teams are looking at the Argentine.

The striker is one of the best in the world and helped Inter return to the Champions League this season.

Icardi also finished on top of the scoring charts last season, tied with Ciro Immobile. The 25-year-old would add a lot of quality to the United side and his transfer fee seems logical, given his potential and ability.

United do have a lot of attacking talent with Marcus Rashford, Alexis Sanchez, Romelu Lukaku and Anthony Martial in the team. However, the Argentine would be a brilliant addition to any side in the world.

A number of fans were sure about the deal, however, and here are some of their reactions from Twitter.
