The Daily Mail reports that some Manchester United fans have paid for a banner to be flown over Turf Moor as United play Burnley on 2nd September.
The report adds that the fans are unhappy with Ed Woodward and the American owners who have appointed him. The banner’s message will state: “Ed Out – LUHG” (Love United, Hate Glazers) as per the report.
This would not be the first time some United fans have shared their grievances via a banner. The report claims that a “Wrong One – Moyes Out” banner was flown over Old Trafford in March 2014, with David Moyes getting sacked a month or so later.
Ed Woodward and Jose Mourinho have had their issues regarding United’s summer acquisitions, as per the report.
While United struggled in their last match against Brighton & Hove Albion, it will be interesting to see how we perform against Tottenham.
Some United fans shared their reactions to the banner being flown and the protest against the Glazers.
If the Glazers and Woodward won’t invest and back our manager with new players I think it’s time to start protesting again #LUHG #MUFC_FAMILY pic.twitter.com/YeOzewrWqr

Stand firm, Ed. We love you!

Can understand the sentiment behind the ‘Ed out LUHG’ plane banner.
But whoever has funded this, has more money than sense.
Woodward was integral in bringing the glazers to old Trafford.
So is in a position of strength.

As pathetic as banners being flown around a stadium are, the thought of an egotistical Woodward squirming in his seat, if it’s aimed at him, is quite a pleasant thought. @ManUtd

The glazers run the club from spreadsheets.and on their spreadsheets Woodward is excelling in his job, there is no way in the word they would sack him so anyone thinking a banner over the game will force their hand is very much mistaken
