Manchester United have met with representatives of Layvin Kurzawa about a possible move to the Premier League side, according to L’Equipe (h/t Metro).
The report claims that Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain are looking to sell the French defender for a fee of £22million and Tottenham and Wolverhampton Wanderers have also been in talks over the left-back.
The report adds that Kurzawa was in and out of the PSG side last season as he played 26 games for the Ligue 1 champions. Kurzawa scored five goals and provided three assists for the side but is willing to leave the side for regular football.
United have Ashley Young and Luke Shaw as left-backs for the season but Young cannot be seen as a long-term option for the Red Devils.
Shaw, on the other hand, is young but Mourinho has had his issues with the Englishman (h/t Guardian). Kurzawa could be a decent signing for us given that he has played for PSG for a number of years.
United have been linked with a move for a central defender (h/t Metro), however, a move for Kurzawa would not be a bad decision by the Red Devils.
The 25-year-old’s price tag of £22million is a steal when compared to some of the other prices paid in the transfer window.

Kurzawa has won a couple of Ligue 1 titles with PSG since his move from Monaco and he could be the long-term left-back we have been looking for.
