Manchester United completed their tour of the United States with a 2-1 win over Real Madrid in Miami.
A couple of quality goals in the first half from Alexis Sanchez and Ander Herrera gave us the lead against a side that featured some stars such as Gareth Bale and Karim Benzema.

Madrid, however, never really got out of first gear and even though Benzema got a goal, we were able to shut up shop in the second half.

There was some good news apart from the result as David de Gea and Fred were both a part of the starting XI as we welcomed our World Cup stars back into the team.

United have been hampered by the absence of first-team players but that should change in the coming days. Fred was the standout player in midfield while Alexis Sanchez was industrious in the attack.

The Chilean gave us the lead when Matteo Darmian delivered a cross in the 18th minute. Nine minutes later, Darmian lifted the ball to Juan Mata who crossed it in for Sanchez. The Chilean then diverted the ball to Herrera, who made no mistake to give us a two-goal lead.

Benzema scored from a Theo Hernandez cross but that was it from the Spanish side. We did record our first win in normal time on tour but a number of our fans were not happy with the performance from the side.
