Jose Mourinho is not happy with how the transfer window has gone for Manchester United as he stated that he has shared a list of five targets, which the club have not yet signed.
We have brought in Fred, Diogo Dalot and Lee Grant, however, Mourinho claims that only one more player might be signed before the start of the season.
Speaking after the loss to Liverpool in the International Champions Cup, the manager was quoted by the Guardian as saying:
“I would like to have two more players.
“I think I am not going to get two. I think that it’s possible I will have one. I gave a list to my club of five names a few months ago and I wait to see if it’s possible to have one of these players. “
The manager did not believe that they could get all the players before the deadline and was willing to continue battling with the current crop of United stars.
“If it’s possible, it’s possible. If it’s not, it’s not. If it’s possible, it’s good. If not then we keep fighting and working and believing in the players that we have.”
United have been linked with the likes of Toby Alderweireld and Harry Maguire but both players would cost us a bunch.
Additionally, the early closure of the transfer window is a problem and not bringing in more attackers will surely be a problem.

It will take a lot of work from Mourinho to ensure we have a smooth start to the season but it seems unlikely that it will happen.
