Jose Mourinho has warned Anthony Martial about the possibility of not being sold in the transfer window.
Martial has been linked with a move away from Old Trafford, especially after his agent spoke out that the French attacker wants to play his football elsewhere.
However, Mourinho was quoted by the Metro as saying that he didn’t know what his agent had said.
“I don’t know what his agent told, I would like to be in Los Angeles now and I am in San Jose.
“You cannot do whatever you want in life.”
Mourinho then listed out a couple of examples, probably in anger, as he stated that he wanted to play all the pre-season matches in Los Angeles.
He did not want to change the hotels, flights and just go back to Manchester. Mourinho also added that he would have liked to play against Leicester on Sunday and not on Friday, before adding “you don’t get always in life what you want.”
This more or less seems to say that Martial would remain at Old Trafford next season and the club also have the option of extending his stay until 2020 should they activate a clause in his current contract.
Martial is still one of the brightest players at Manchester United and it is imperative that he stays on board if we are looking to win the Premier League title.

The Frenchman hasn’t done himself any favours too, by not turning up in games but this season would certainly be make or break for the former Monaco man.
