Manchester United face competition for the signature of Ante Rebic as Pedulla (h/t Express) claims Bayern Munich have entered the race to sign the Croatian.
Rebic helped his nation reach the World Cup final but lost the match to France 4-2. The winger was also a star for Eintracht Frankfurt last season and the report claims that Rebic’s agent Fali Ramadani was in Munich to discuss a deal.
The 24-year-old would not come on the cheap as Frankfurt have to pay 30% of any transfer fee to the former club of Rebic, Fiorentina.
The Bundesliga club are looking to get between €40m and €50m for the World Cup finalist as Jose Mourinho reportedly wants to bring more attacking options to Old Trafford.
While Rebic did have a good tournament, he is a little inconsistent in the final third. The other problem would be the amount that Frankfurt want for the 24-year-old given that he reached the World Cup final.
Of course, we do need another option out wide and Rebic would be a decent option but his price point seems to be increasing regularly. Battling Bayern for a player who is based in Germany is always going to be difficult.

Rebic is certainly someone who could be on the move, but his arrival at Old Trafford is a difficult possibility unless we make a crazy offer to Frankfurt.
