Manchester United could finally land Gareth Bale for £90m but on one condition

Bale

Real Madrid could sell Gareth Bale this summer, provided they are able to bring in a couple of new signings, according to the Mirror.

The Welsh attacker will also hold crunch talks with new manager Julen Lopetegui regarding his role in the side next season. Florentino Perez is also not willing to sell Bale right after selling Cristiano Ronaldo but the report says that he might change his mind.

Real are looking to sign two out of Kylian Mbappe, Eden Hazard, Neymar and Robert Lewandowski, with Bale being added to the transfer list if they succeed.

Manchester United is the preferred destination for the former Tottenham man if he does decide to move. If that happens though, we would have to stump up £90million for the 28-year-old Welshman.

Bale has had his issues with former manager Zinedine Zidane. The Welshman started on the bench against Liverpool in the Champions League final but he made the difference for the eventual champions.

The former Spurs man scored a brace, out of which one goal was an incredible overhead kick. And with Zidane gone, he might expect more playing time under Lopetegui.

However, with Real looking to sign new players, we would be in a better position to sign Bale if we are willing to spend. The Welshman would be an automatic starter for us out wide and he would be a decent signing for us, given that he is only 28 and has a few quality years in him.

With the World Cup done and dusted, we should see a lot more transfer moves by the big clubs and it will be interesting to see just who we will bring in before the start of the season.
