Juventus could be looking to sign Paul Pogba back if they end up selling Miralem Pjanic to Manchester City, according to Tuttosport (h/t Daily Star).
The report claims that Pep Guardiola and even Barcelona are interested in the Manchester United midfielder but the former AS Roma man wants to stay in Turin and play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo.
Pjanic is one of the best midfielders in the Serie A and he would cost a bunch, however, Juventus are open to selling the 28-year-old if they get the right deal.
Pogba, for his part, might not have had a great season last time around but he sure has been in excellent form in the World Cup as he has led his France side all the way to the final. The former Juventus man could be a target for the Serie A side as Massimiliano Allegri might want to replace Pjanic.
Pogba might not have been all that great last season but he has shown that he can do a great job if given the right role in the side. Maybe Jose Mourinho could take a leaf out of Didier Deschamps’ book and give Pogba more freedom on the pitch.
The Frenchman is one of the best footballers in the world and we fought really hard to bring him back from Juventus and it would make little sense to sell him now.
The 25-year-old still has a lot of time to get better and develop as a footballer and all his best years should be in the Red of United.
