United were linked with the 29-year-old last season but could not complete a deal. Perisic has scored a couple of goals in the World Cup and has one assist to his name too. The 29-year-old had a great season with Inter as he racked up 11 goals and provided 9 assists for the Serie A side.
The 29-year-old certainly caught the eye of our manager during Croatia’s 2-1 win over England in the semi-final of the World Cup, who was quoted as saying:
“Perisic is the kind of winger that is different to the others.
“Normally you look at wingers and they are just fast and creative. But he is also physical, very physical, fantastic in the air.”
It is this physicality that might come in handy for us next season as Perisic would be a quality option to have in the side.
The Croatian is known for his work rate too and while he might not be a tricky and fast winger, he can excel under Mourinho. It will be interesting to see just how much he would cost since he has helped Croatia to the final of the World Cup.

United do need more options in the attack and in Perisic, we would have one of the best in the world, who can play almost anywhere in the final third.
