One player who has been touted for great things in the future is Sergej Milinkovic-Savic of Lazio. The Serbian is starring for the national side in the World Cup and a recent image from teammate Nemanja Matic has got a lot of interest from Manchester United fans.
Milinkovic-Savic was impressive in the first game of the World Cup against Costa Rica and has been linked with a big-money move away from the Serie A club, with Manchester United being one of the clubs interested in the £100m-rated star.
However, Matic, who plies his trade at Old Trafford, shared an image from the game as the pair seemed to fend off a Costa Rica player.
The 23-year-old would cost a lot and recently, his father added that joining Italian champions Juventus would be the right option for the Serbian.
However, we can dream of the player joining and playing alongside Matic at Man United and our fans went completely crazy on Instagram after this photo was shared by Matic.
It will be interesting to see just where the talented midfielder does end up after the end of the World Cup. Should he help his side into the knockout rounds, his stock will certainly rise and Lazio would demand more money for the 23-year-old.
Serbia don’t have it easy as they face Switzerland and Brazil in their final group games but if anyone can do a good job against two quality teams, it is Milinkovic-Savic.
