David de Gea spoke out about his taste in music in the Old Trafford dressing room and added that he may get banned for the music he plays for the other players.

The 27-year-old keeper was speaking to Copa 90 (h/t The Daily Mail) as he added that he mostly plays rock and metal while the other players prefer hip-hop.

“I always put my music on. It is true that they might ban me from the dressing room one day. I get a lot of criticism about my music but I always try and play them good music.

“I like metal and rock bands like Avenged Sevenfold and Metallica. When I put it on in the dressing room, everyone moans! Most of the other players are into hip-hop.”

Spain looking to repeat 2010 glory in Russia

De Gea should be focussed on the World Cup as he looks to take Spain all the way to the final and win the trophy. The side did win the trophy in 2010 and if De Gea plays to his best ability, the Spanish side will be tough to score against.

The keeper has been a stalwart for our club and has been strong for a long time now. The 27-year-old is in great form as he picked up the Golden Glove award this season and should Spain pick up the World Cup this time around, there will be a lot more rock played at Old Trafford next season and more players will be upset with the star keeper.
