Manchester United have not made any new signings in the ongoing summer transfer window so far and that seems to have thrown our fans over the ledge.

In a rant on Twitter, a user by the name of @PogbesqueV3 put out the following tweet which immediately garnered attention from Liverpool and United fans alike.

Over the course of the 2017/18 season, we were accused time and again of playing a boring brand of football. Despite finishing in the runners-up spot, it goes without that saying that our performances were quite lacklustre. To make matters worse, our immediate rivals Manchester City and Liverpool were both playing high-octane football, which also earned them a reputation in Europe.

Hence, going into the summer window, a lot of us had lofty hopes but from what we are seeing so far, the situation does not look promising. Jurgen Klopp has already secured deals for Naby Keita and Fabinho – both of whom can transform Liverpool’s midfield next season.

However, as far as United are concerned, there seems to be no such news. In fact, most of our fans are not happy with the players that we are being linked with. A few other supporters took to Twitter to slam Jose Mourinho’s lackadaisical approach to the transfer window.

For now, the best we can do is maintain our trust in Mourinho and hope for a good summer. But no matter what, we must strive to play better and win something next season.
