Man Utd fans convinced about club’s £53m deal for midfield beast

According to a report by The Mirror, eagle-eyed Manchester United fans have noticed an interesting piece of activity which could mean a potential transfer deal. Reports claim that United have agreed to a £53m deal for Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Fred this summer and it goes without saying that we need a player like him.

Liverpool may have unexpectedly signed Fabinho but all hope is not lost for us since Fred is also quite capable in the middle of the park.

The Mirror claims photographer Craig Norwood has recently followed Fred on Instagram. That might seem like a harmless activity but it must be noted that he is somebody who regularly deals with our club and players.

Interestingly, the report further states that Norwood has a reputation for following United players after they sign for the club and is believed to have done the same with the likes of Paul Pogba and Alexis Sanchez. In that case, it does look like a potential deal could be on the horizon.

It soon became a hot topic for the fans on social media and some fan-based accounts on Twitter confirmed the same with photographic evidence.

Given how poor our recent season was, this does bring about a ray of hope. United are in dire need of reinforcing the squad and a promising talent like Fred will definitely go a long way in boosting our forces. Let’s just hope this means what we think it means and that the club announces a deal for him soon.
