‘Whatever you do, don’t drop points’ Man United Fans React To Club’s Packed Festive Schedule

It is the start of December and this is not just going to be a festive month; it will also be a busy month for the club, with fixtures piling up left, right, and centre. One look at the December schedule tells me that this is going to be a very crucial month for our title charge.

We start with the fixture at the Emirates Stadium, squaring up against our old rivals Arsenal. I believe that it is as important as any fixture in our December calendar, simply because dropping any points in this match would weaken our position in the league table.

After the Arsenal game would be the Champions League clash against CSKA Moscow where we need a point at home to confirm our finish as group toppers. There is a mathematical chance of us getting eliminated but I don’t see that happening. I don’t even think we should be worried about not picking up the top place.

The match of the month though will be the Manchester derby at Old Trafford on December 10. Not just because it is a derby against our noisy neighbours but also because it is a virtual six-pointer.

I think we are the only side capable of beating City and we saw last season as to how they unravelled in the second-half of the campaign. This could be our best chance to get back into the title race and bring some jitters to City, who have it in their DNA to give it away – to quote our own Roy Keane.

There are other important fixtures this month, like the one against Burnley at home on Boxing Day, purely because I think Sean Dyche’s men are playing very well this season. An away fixture against Leicester City on December 23 is also a tight one.

Overall, December looks to be a very crucial month for the side and I’m confident that at the start of the new year, we would be in a better position.

The opinion on Twitter is divided over which is the most awaited fixture but all the fans agree that this is going to be a very crucial month for us.
