It is intriguing to watch Jose Mourinho in action – when the matches are on, watch out for his sideline antics and when there isn’t any action, watch out for his strategies.

The Portuguese tactician maintains a strong relationship with every player that he pursues and Gareth Bale is no exception. The Welsh superstar has been a subject of immense Manchester United interest for some time now and it looks like Mourinho is confident of a deal happening this summer.

As reported by The Daily Mirror, Mourinho has urged his Old Trafford bosses to launch a £100million bid for the Real Madrid star.

Bale – A Customary Name In Our Transfer Plans

Isn’t it? Almost like a mandatory rule, he gets linked to United every single window. This time it’s no different although the rules of the game have changed slightly – to United’s favor. The ex-Tottenham star has maintained his strong desire to stay at the club and fight for his place but he won’t be the first player to be sold against his wish by Real.

Mourinho recently admitted defeat in his hopes of signing Bale after seeing his side lose to Real 2-1 in the UEFA Super Cup. However, latest reports indicate that the manager is pushing the club management to strike a deal.

Is Mou’s Confidence Infectious?

Which fan wouldn’t want Bale at Old Trafford? The winger fits our ethos perfectly and will be an instant hit like his countryman Ryan Giggs was for many years. Mourinho looks to be confident of striking a deal as the transfer window comes to a close.

But a word of caution – Real and United have a history of ruining each other’s well laid-out plans. Think of David de Gea and think of Alvaro Morata! I am not saying that this would go in #the same route but dealing with Real is going to be doubly difficult for United.

Will Mourinho’s confidence translate into reality? What do you think?
