Mourinho Demands Manchester United To Smash All Transfer Records In Pursuit Of Golden Boot Winner

Reports have suggested that Spurs superstar Harry Kane could be subject to an astronomical offer from Manchester United, with Jose Mourinho set to swoop.

According to Football.london, Mourinho has told Manchester United chiefs that they must secure the signing of Harry Kane at all costs.

This isn’t the first time that United have been linked with the prolific striker, who won last season’s Premier League golden boot. After he rose to prominence in the 2014/15 campaign, Louis Van Gaal set his sights on Kane, but never came close to tempting him away from North-London.

United and Mourinho are desperate to sign a world class striker, having released Zlatan Ibrahimovic earlier this month, the Swede’s time at Old Trafford ended after a late-season injury, but still finished comfortably as the club’s top scorer.

Luring Kane away from Spurs may be a very difficult task for any potential suitors. Tottenham are a club on the rise and Kane supported the North-London club as a child. He has hinted on many occasions that he would like to remain at Spurs for the rest of his career.

He does appear to be of the same mould as famous one club men such as Steven Gerrard, John Terry and Francesco Totti. A boyhood fan, who led his side from the front.

Big money will no doubt be thrown his way, though, and United could be leading the race. Rumours have been circulating that the Mancunian club could renew their interest this summer, having continued to monitor Kane since 2015. Spurs fans have been quick to mock United’s hopes on social media, but any bid of £100m will test Tottenham’s resolve.

However, Spurs are keen to reach the next level and appreciate that a crucial part of making that a reality, is keeping hold of their star players. Kane, alongside fellow England international Dele Alli, is their most prized asset.

United have already been busy in the market, completing the signing of Benfica defender Victor Lindelof, last week. A striker is the next priority!
