The Premier League fixtures for the 2017/18 season were announced and excitement creeps in, doesn’t it? As the new season begins, there’s renewed hope and optimism around. After all, the past doesn’t matter when the new season gets underway.
We begin our season at home to West Bromwich Albion and then travel to the Liberty Stadium to play Swansea City the following weekend. The first real test of the season comes in the form of Everton, who visit Old Trafford on 16th September. We face Liverpool at Anfield a month later and host Tottenham Hotspur a fortnight after the Liverpool game.
The first Manchester Derby of the league season falls on 9th of December, and it will be played at Old Trafford. The reverse fixture is on 7th of April at the Etihad. We play Arsenal on the 36th game week and I think we can brace ourselves for another ‘Guard of Honour’ from the Gunners, provided we play to the fullest of our ability.
The fans were excited about the fixtures and we came across some interesting tweets regarding the same. Read on!
